As the first Balkan restaurant in DC, Ambar blends tradition and heritage with creativity and modern design. The chefs focus on small plates, and use the finest products from the old and new worlds to provide an unforgettable experience. Guests are made to feel at home, and they can sip regional wines as they wait for their meals. The brunch menu features endless plates and there’s something for everyone. Choices include veggie omelets, ham & cheese crepes, and fried chicken sandwiches. 

Ted’s Bulletin

Ted’s Bulletin boasts it’s a place to savor the every day. It offers an elegant, yet casual atmosphere and guests find fast friends in the servers and bartenders. In the kitchen, the chefs take a contemporary approach to classic American cuisine. They make everything from scratch using the freshest, high-quality ingredients. The restaurant opens at 7:00 a.m., and serves brunch all day. Popular offerings include original breakfast burritos, steak & eggs, and chicken n’ biscuits. 

Belga Cafe

Modeled after Brussels’ casual cafes, Belga was the first Belgian restaurant in Washington DC. It’s known for its authentic dishes and extensive collection of craft beer. Chef/owner Bart Vandaele has a flair for provocative dining. He was a contestant on Top Chef and has won numerous industry awards. Chef Vandaele prepares the meals to order, and brunch is offered on the weekends from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Meals include Belgian omelets, warm smoked trout toast, and farm cornbread waffles.
